Home Instead caregivers help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, respect, care, and compassion. We are searching for compassionate individuals who are eager to learn, open to feedback and coaching, and want to make an impact on the lives of many aging adults on O’ahu!

Our Caregiver I's provide Home Helper, Companionship & Specialized Services, including but not limited to:
  • Companionship and engagement 
  • Preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals and snacks
  • Providing oral medication and hydration reminders
  • Providing reminders about recommended exercises and nutrition
  • Running errands (shopping for food, household supplies, clothing, other personal essentials, and picking up medications, etc.)
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments, nutritional or recreational programs, and community engagement activities
  • Provide Specialized services, including but not limited to:
    • Alzheimer’s and dementia care
    • Parkinson’s care
    • Behavior management
    • Hospice support services (provide our non-medical scope of services in coordination with and support of Hospice in the home)
Our Caregiver II's provide personal services, including but not limited to:
  • Assisting with bathing, skin care, and dressing
  • Assisting with personal and oral hygiene, hair care, and grooming
  • Assisting with toileting and incontinence care
  • Assisting with ambulation, mobility, transfers, and positioning
  • Assisting with recommended exercises and range of motion
